At the end of the book of Genesis, Joseph makes one deeply poignant

| CHIEF RABBI’S YOM HASHOAH SERVICE COMES TO ILFORD |

The Jewish communities in Essex have been invited to host and participate in the Chief Rabbi’s 2011 Yom HaShoah Commemorative Service – an annual event held to remember, honour and pay tribute to the six million who perished during the Shoah. Ilford Synagogue will host the service in May 2011, following the enormous success of the service launched by the Office of the Chief Rabbi in 2009.

There was standing room only at Edgware Synagogue, which hosted the Chief Rabbi's Annual Yom HaShoah Commemorative Service.
Amongst the audience were survivors and their families and leading members of the Community.
The service was conducted by Rabbi Lionel Rosenfeld, Chazan Jonny Turgel and the Shabbaton Choir led by Stephen Levey.
